Incident #3

A 20-year-old man was sentenced to 70 years in prison Tuesday for slicing his infant’s throat, then choking and stabbing his girlfriend to death in a jealous rage after she received phone calls from another man.
McKerry Coleman was convicted Oct. 14 by a Cook County jury of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder for the Nov. 30, 2009, attack in the 6700 block of South Evans.
Coleman was sentenced Tuesday to 70 years in prison -- 45 years for the murder of his girlfriend and 25 for the attempted murder of the baby, Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said.
Tanisha Edwards was killed when Coleman, her boyfriend, became upset that she was talking to another man on the phone. Both were home with their 7-week-old son when they began to argue about the call, prosecutors said.
When Edwards got yet another call from a man, Coleman, who was holding the infant in his arms, grabbed a knife and sliced his child’s neck, breaking the knife’s handle. He threw the baby to the ground and grabbed Edwards, beating her on the ground, court records said.
Edwards’ two brothers were home at the time and ran to get help, but it was too late. Coleman grabbed another knife and stabbed Edwards in the head and throat, killing her. Neighbors called police after seeing Coleman run away.
Edwards died several hours later, but the child survived.
Coleman turned himself him and gave a video statement confessing to what he did, prosecutors said.

The crime happened awhile ago, but shithead was recently convicted. Death may be cheaper than housing him for 70 years.

  1. Death would definitely be cheaper, and because of his confession, appeals are unnecessary. Shoot him in the head, and be done with it.

  2. What a sick bastard. I'll second what TGP stated. If that's not a case for the death penalty then there is none.

Naturally the libs will want to study this cretin to determine why he did this. Years later after a gazzilion dollars in research grants the cause will be announced that life wasn't fair to him because whitey controls everything. In the meantime not a peep will be uttered by the libs about the victims.

  3. Johnny,

You are right on target - there is no more reason to keep that bastard alive than to let a rabid dog live.

  4. TGP- I have heard that it is more expensive to execute, than to incarcerate. I just don't see how that's possible.

H/Nox- Considering what happened to this poor little boy, this is probably one case when you wish the black man was an absentee Father.

CS- I'm not sure what it says about me, but I would have a harder time putting down the dog.

  5. BTW- I think I've proven that these are not isolated one time incidents. I could go on, but I'm bored with it already.

  6. Johnny,

You can usually tell when you make your point even to Mud_PILE - he doesn't come back to the thread. He has a pretty high threshold for recognizing his own hypocrisy - but he does reach it every now and then. Even he can't ignore the truth forever.

  7. Johnny,

Of course you would have a harder time putting down the dog. You're obviously a good man.

Executions would be much cheaper if we sent ten lawyers along on each trip. But the cops would do us all a favor by not catching these turds alive.
