A study of love, hate, pain, and joy.
Johnny, Do they have sheet music for that?
CS- Yes, they do have lyrics and sheet music. :)And, these fine men are from the great state of Virginia. What do they put in the water down there?
Johnny, We're a Freedom State - perhaps that gives birth to a wide variety of "entertainment." Too each his own I say. I have to admit, I didn't fire this one up in ear shot of Mrs. Common Sense and I only listened to 3:00 - I think I got the point though.
J.O.B., right now I am laughing so bloody hard I can hardly type. CLEARLY this is not music for someone of my more advanced age. While I do not question the base-line skill of these folks, hows come I can't understand anything the dude was singing when he started? And I echo CS's comment relative to the wide variety of entertainment that springs from a Freedom State like Virginia. All that said, much appreciated the post, J.O.B.
MrsAl- Sometimes it is hard to understand lyrics of some of these bands. Alot of times, I have to research the lyrics, because I can not make them out. The singer of this track is named Randy Blythe. He is one of the best at what is referred to in music, as "Pitching". You noticed his highs & lows? Those are without any help from a processor. Anyway, here are the lyrics. All the fucked up things trap & punish me I cannot explain my problem. Kill my hopeless life I cannot be hypnotized. You owe me. Push aside the veil to welcome in the visitors. Eyes like halogen illuminate the soma peering out of spherical night mask. Paleolithic subconscious icons lumber through dreamscape archetype of archangel. Terror and hubris - infants painted gauze peer through murky jars; soon I'm wearing the skin of the morning star. Green locks my name fills an empty banner. Frank, what have you gotten me into now? I am not afraid to speak my heart & mind it cannot be saved sell me over. Fuck your hopeless world, I am blacker than the sun. Tragedy. Have you seen the speedy, yes? Bleeds through the sleep onto the page. I'm sailin'...
Johnny, I read that twice - I don't know why.
CS- Because after it is all said and done. Metal is empowering. Just let it happen Sir. :)
