Why do they always send the poor?

This is a song lyric by a band, named System of a Down. You can probably guess what the song is about. That's right, War. Most improtantly, Presidents declaring war, and poor kids always dying in the wars. I have a few answers and am hoping to get some feedback from former servicemen.

I will start out by saying this, all I ever hear, is that politicians don't have "Skin in the game". Or, rich people never have to deal with this problem. Before I continue, I would like to add this disclaimer, I only have two semesters of community college education. The ideas expressed in this post are not from a highly educated man, but that of a man who has a decent amount of life experience, I great deal of common sense(at least I think), and the undying love for my child.

Poor kids die in war for one reason, they are the most expendible. Before everyone gets their undies in a bunch, hear me out.

Poor kids don't have alot of options. They either come from parents that can't afford to make good choices, parents that make bad choices, or parents who are too naive, or uninformed to guide their children properly.

It seems to me that a great deal of kids who enlist, do so because they see it as a means to a free college education. I'm guessing, a great deal of these kids join the reserves, for obvious reasons. Now, when a war is declared, who is the first to go. I'm not trained, nor have I ever been in the service, but my guess would be that reservists are the first to go. Why? Because they are the most expendible. At least in the eyes of the federal government. It seems that it is a lot cheaper, for a reservist to be on the frontline, than an 8 year Marine. Doesn't it cost alot more to train that Marine?

I don't mean to sound unsympathetic, because I'm not. Young men and women who fight and die for this country, including our rights, makes me sad, and grateful at the same time. But it seems too many kids make this choice, without proper input from the most important guidance counsellors in their lives. Their parents.

As for my child. Her college education is taken care of. She will not be forced to choose between higher education and the possibility of giving her life for American freedoms. If she comes to me someday, and tells me that she wants to be in the armed forces, I will do my best to inform her properly of everything, and whatever choice she makes, will make me proud.

So, am I on the right track, close, or completely wrong? Let me know.

Johnny O'Bloggin's Funny Ass Friday

A man escapes from prison where he has been for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.
He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom.
While he's in there, the husband tells his wife: "Listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck." If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain, do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us. Be strong, honey. I love you."
To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and asked me if we had any vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you too!!"

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.................................................................

Two men and one juvenile were charged with the armed robberies of a Walgreens store and a pizza parlor Nov. 13 in Crestwood.
The three suspects allegedly robbed Little Caesar’s Pizza, 13541 S. Cicero Ave. and Walgreens, 13501 S. Cicero Ave., according to a Crestwood police news release.
Police officers arrived on the scene and saw the three masked men leaving Walgreens and running east from the scene, the release said.
An officer chased the suspects until they ran in different directions. The officer continued pursuing a suspect on foot and saw that he was holding a gun, which the suspect threw to the ground, and officers apprehended him.
It was not immediately known what was taken from the businesses.
Several days later, police detectives along with the South Suburban Police Gang Task Force located and apprehended the other two suspects, the release said.
The three suspects, Anthony Allbritton Jr., 21, and Eric Goudeau, 23, both of Robbins, and a juvenile from Park Forest who was charged as an adult, confessed to the crime and were charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, the release said.
The three suspects have appeared for bond hearings, but bond amounts were not immediately available................................................................................

So, the African Americans that robbed two stores in MY town were apprehended. I'm shocked! They must have been on their way to that 8:00 P.M. mass I always hear about. There's no way that they are dirtbags. There must be some underlying subtext. Maybe they were trying to feed there poor families.

OH WAIT, that's what I do with my tax dollars, how could I forget.

Fuckin' Assholes...............I hope you ACCIDENTALLY get sent to gen pop during Aryan exercise time.........OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP'ssssssssssssssssssssss

ATTENTION!!!!!!!! Chicagoland Trade Unions!!!!!!!

I don't know if any of you still check in here from time to time. Hopefully you do, and Brothers, I have some news. I am currently working on the Naperville Marriott project.

My understanding is that, the Glaziers (Local 27) will start picketing the job tomorrow. I heard an "On The Job" rumor today, that if there's a picket, some of the painters will cross.

That's right! Local 147 members are prepared to cross the picket. This is a cowardly, and gutless deed performed by men who I see as SWAC's. They only care about themselves, and don't give a shit about anyones' families, but their own.

They should immediately be brought up on charges, and have their cards revoked. Unfortunately, I am not part of any governing body that gets to decide the fate of the local 147 membership.

However, I do have a resolve and have made a few calls stating such. If their is a picket tomorrow, and the painters cross. Fuck 'em........Their contract is up in '12. As I told the B.A. I spoke too. "If your members cross, I will never respect a Local 147 picket again. EVER!"

I will update tomorrow. Stay strong brothers and sisters.

Remember, think with your minds, not your pocketbooks...............................

My favorite PILE. Let's call him Gomer.

Some time ago, Mud created a post involving President Obama's announcement of troop withdrawal from Iraq. I even commented on how President Obama did a wonderful job keeping this campaign promise. Boy was I wrong.

Here's what the President proclaimed----------------------------
"Today, I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year," Obama said at the White House. "Our troops will definitely be home for the holidays."
A small force of a few hundred Marines will remain to help train Iraqi forces, as well as a large diplomatic contingent.

But, here's the problem I found with his bold proclamation-----------------
The prevailing document, the 2008 Status of Forces Agreement, was negotiated between the Bush administration and the Iraqi prime minister Nuri al-Maliki. That’s what set the deadline of Dec. 31, 2011, for all U.S. troops to leave Iraq.

"He essentially implemented the plan that he inherited," said Chris Preble of the libertarian Cato Institute.

WOW! So, the withdrawal was actually set forth by the Bush Administration. I finally figured it out. When things go to shit with the presidency, blame the predecessor. When looking for a boost to your campaign, take credit for what said predecessor did.

And the PILE's eat it up.

Johnny O'Bloggin's Funny Ass Friday

Little April was not the best student in Sunday school.
Usually she slept through the class.

One day the teacher called on her while she was napping, "Tell me, April, who created the universe?"

When April didn't stir, little Johnny, a boy seated in the chair behind her, took a pin and jabbed her in the rear. "GOD ALMIGHTY!" shouted April and the teacher said, "Very good" and April fell back asleep.

A while later the teacher asked April, "Who is our Lord and Saviour," But, April didn't even stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to the rescue and stuck her again. 'JESUS CHRIST!" shouted April and the teacher said, "very good," and April fell back to sleep.

Then the teacher asked April a third question. "What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?" And again, Johnny jabbed her with the pin. This time April jumped up and shouted, "IF YOU STICK THAT FUCKING THING IN ME ONE MORE TIME, I'LL BREAK IT IN HALF AND STICK IT UP YOUR ASS!"

Incident #3

A 20-year-old man was sentenced to 70 years in prison Tuesday for slicing his infant’s throat, then choking and stabbing his girlfriend to death in a jealous rage after she received phone calls from another man.
McKerry Coleman was convicted Oct. 14 by a Cook County jury of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder for the Nov. 30, 2009, attack in the 6700 block of South Evans.
Coleman was sentenced Tuesday to 70 years in prison -- 45 years for the murder of his girlfriend and 25 for the attempted murder of the baby, Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said.
Tanisha Edwards was killed when Coleman, her boyfriend, became upset that she was talking to another man on the phone. Both were home with their 7-week-old son when they began to argue about the call, prosecutors said.
When Edwards got yet another call from a man, Coleman, who was holding the infant in his arms, grabbed a knife and sliced his child’s neck, breaking the knife’s handle. He threw the baby to the ground and grabbed Edwards, beating her on the ground, court records said.
Edwards’ two brothers were home at the time and ran to get help, but it was too late. Coleman grabbed another knife and stabbed Edwards in the head and throat, killing her. Neighbors called police after seeing Coleman run away.
Edwards died several hours later, but the child survived.
Coleman turned himself him and gave a video statement confessing to what he did, prosecutors said.

The crime happened awhile ago, but shithead was recently convicted. Death may be cheaper than housing him for 70 years.

What would Martin L. King Jr. think?

Well, last night I did something I've never done before. I committed a crime.

The suburb I live in is just west of a village called Robbins. Robbins is um, how you'd say, aaaaa, um, a sack of shit town. It's filled with welfare receiving, life disrespecting, lazy sacks of shit.

So anyway, last night, on the Southeast corner of 135th St. and Cicero Ave. , their were two armed robberies. Two men, both armed entered and proceeded too rob the local Walgreens. A third, armed with a hand gun entered the Little Ceasar's next door and proceeded too rob that store. Then, instead of heading East back home, they decided to head West, into the neighborhoods of beautiful Crestwood.

My wife, who works for Cook County found out about the helicopter and bloodhound officer heading to the scene. See, the problem with having a community that has an 83% welfare residency, is that their's no tax revenue for their own fully functioning police department. So, needless to say, we had the inside scoop.

The robberies happened around 7:30 P.M. At 8.20 P.M. the dog needed to be walked. Since we live in a condo, we can't just open up the back door. So, Mrs. O'Bloggin asked me to accompany her. My crime? I accompanied her with a mag lihght in one hand and my .45 in the other.......I can't wait to purchase my AR-15.

So why did this sequence of events occur? What possessed three young men to venture into a town filled with old people? Walk into a drugstore, and pizza chain while armed, and use the threat of violence, and death, to obtain a miniscule amount of money. Is it their socioeconomic disadvantages due to prejudice, and 400 years of oppression? Is it a lack of job programs provided by the government and the welfare system itself? Let me think......HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM. I got it. Maybe they're just uncivilized, lazy pieces of shit.

Oh well, Mrs. O'Bloggin, canine O'Bloggin, and myself are fine. The perpetrators are still at large. And people are still going to tell me not to be judgemental. Maybe it proves that there is a lack of job opportunities due to the refusal of the Republican party to waiver on Obama's jobs, jobs, jobs bill.

Oh, I almost forgot. The two stores that were robbed, are currently hiring.

Incident #2

A security guard was shot and killed late Thursday trying to stop two armed robbers who held up a South Side Aldi store. The robbers also shot and wounded a customer as she tried to get away.
One of the two robbers walked up to a register at the store in the 9000 block of South Halsted Street and announced a robbery at 7:27 p.m., according to police. A 54-year-old security guard for the store became involved in a struggle with the second suspect, who pulled out a handgun and shot the guard multiple times in the head and upper torso, police said.
He was identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Reginald Lanier, of 11647 S. Campbell Ave., in Chicago’s Beverly community and he was dead at the scene of the shooting.
A 67-year-old woman was also shot in the leg as she tried to get out of the store, police said. She was taken in serious to critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to fire department officials.
Distraught relatives identified the guard as Lanier, a father of one.
Two female relatives wailed “No ... God, no!” after they arrived at the scene.
Lanier had only worked at the store for three or four months, lost a nephew to gun violence last week and was worried about his safety at the store, said his brother-in-law, Horace Page Jr.
“Of course he was (worried about his safety), you know how it is out here,” said Page, a former Chicago police officer who became an engineer to get away from street violence. “They killed him, they killed him at work.”
Lanier had a 20-year-old daughter who is an honor student at Roosevelt University and he lived with his wife, Page said.
The robbers got away with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.

Murder during the commission of a robbery. That's a Death Penalty case.

Proof that Illinois needs to bring back the death penalty.

Nobody will say for sure why Kelli O’Laughlin met her brutal end in her own suburban home, allegedly at the hands of a career criminal wielding a long knife he took from the 14-year-old’s family kitchen.
But something about the terrible stabbing of the high school freshman and the taunting texts her killer is accused of sending to her mother pushed investigators to chase down leads around the clock for a week until they got murder charges approved, late Thursday night, against 38-year-old John L. Wilson.
The pointlessness of the slaying of a lovely young lady by someone who ransacked her Indian Head Park house and stole a bowl of coins inspired thousands of friends, neighbors and Lyons Township High School classmates to line the streets Friday morning as her body and grieving family rode to her funeral.
And the sheer callousness of the crime lured sitting judges and working attorneys out of their offices and courtrooms — where murders are heard all the time — to witness as spectators the story of how Kelli died.
Wilson, a 170-pound parolee, a 38-year-old who’s spent 17 of the last 20 years in prison, stabbed her in the neck and chest and back, Assistant State’s Attorney Peter Troy said. Then he sent taunting text messages to her mother, using the teen’s cell phone, Troy said.
Wilson had attacked before, court records show. He’d rammed his bike on purpose, records say, into a lady’s car on Chicago’s West Side, so he could get close enough to grab her throat and her purse when she offered to help him. He held a gun up to a driver’s head on Chicago’s South Side to steal a car.
This time, prosecutors say, he killed. He attacked the 14-year-old with the knife as she returned home from school at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 27. He’d busted a back window of the house with a rock wrapped in a red knit hat. He stabbed her, dropped the 8-inch blade in the family room and dragged her body into the kitchen.
And then he made off with a bowl of change, American and foreign coins he used to pay for the cab he’d called from nearby Willow Springs to the Orange Line L stop near Midway Airport, Troy said.
He also took Kelli’s cell phone and iPod touch, Troy said. The phone was on Wilson when he was arrested, Troy said.
The U.S. Secret Service was able to use cell-phone tracking technology to determine that Kelli’s phone and Wilson’s phone were traveling together throughout Chicago, he said.
And it was that same cell-phone tracking that sources said allowed police to finally nab Wilson on Wednesday near 95th and State in Chicago, a few miles from his home in the 7900 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
DNA recovered from the red knit hat matched Wilson, prosecutors said.
At a press conference in Indian Head Park Friday, neither Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez nor Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart would reveal details of the taunting texts Wilson sent to Kelli’s mom, who discovered her daughter’s lifeless body that day.
“A horrific crime was committed here, and then to have the mother of the victim subject to taunts by the person who did it ... I can’t describe it,” Dart said.
Alvarez said even hardened investigators became tearful at the horror of the case.
Orland Park police Chief Tim McCarthy, head of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force that worked on the case, said investigators worked thousands of hours to crack it.
Dart said it was their sense of loss for the family that “drove people so relentlessly until someone was charged.
“You name it, we did it.”
Wilson will await trial on first-degree murder and burglary charges in the Cook County Jail, held without bail. Besides facing life in prison if convicted, he also poses a danger to society, Judge Peter A. Felice said Friday morning, denying bail.
Wilson did not speak during the hearing, much as he has refused to talk to investigators since his arrest, sources said. He appeared in khaki pants and a gray sweatshirt that covered the tattoos — “Trust No Bitch” and “RIP Carol” — on his arms.
He was paroled in November 2010 after serving 7-1/2 years of an 11-year prison sentence from a 2002 robbery, according to records from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
He had served prison time on prior convictions for drug possession, carjacking, aggravated battery and possessing a stolen vehicle.
Outside Wilson’s Chatham apartment Friday, his older brother, Shun Dantzler, apologized to the O’Laughlin family.
“I put my hands up to God and say, ‘Please have mercy for the little girl and my little brother’s soul. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,’” Dantzler said.
He claimed his brother in mentally unfit to stand trial, something he said he’s told a judge on Wilson’s behalf before.
“As you know and I know, if he had any brains — or should I say if he was in his right mind — he wouldn’t be texting the young lady’s mother,” he said.
A neighbor, Stefon Givens, 23, said Wilson “deserves to be where he’s at right now.”
“You could tell something was wrong with him because he used to always walk past you and look at you crazy,” Givens said. “And he used to always want to know about people’s cribs, wanting to break in people’s houses.”
Earlier Friday, mourners lined the roads near St. John of the Cross Church in Western Springs, where Kelli’s funeral was held Friday morning. She was buried in Fairmont Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs.

Rest in Peace Kelli

Johnny O'Bloggin's Funny Ass Friday

Patrick O'Malley hoisted his beer and said: "Here's to spending the rest of my life between the legs of my wife!" - and he took home the top prize for the best toast of the night.

In bed later that night, he told his wife: "Mary, I won the prize for the best toast of the night." She said, "Aye, Paddy, what was your toast?"

So he told her: "Here's to spending the rest of my life sitting in church beside my wife."

"Oh," she said, "that is very nice, dear."

The next day, Mary ran into one of Paddy's drinking partners in the street. Mischievously, the man said: "Did you hear about your husband winning a prize in the pub the other night for a toast about you, Mary?"

She replied: "Yeah - and I was a bit surprised. Till now, he's only been down there twice. Once he fell asleep, and the other time I had to pull him by the ears to make him come".

Have a happy, wonderful, Veterans Day

My freedoms are guaranteed to me by the Constitution of the United States of America.

But they have been defended, and perserved by total strangers.

To all the men and women who have served, or are serving in the Armed Forces. I would like to say, from the bottom of my heart, Thank you so very much....................

"I can't believe I'm going to vote for a nigger, but we can't have another four years of George Bush"

This is an exact, unedited quote, from a Tradesman I was working with in late October 2008. I deeply apologize if it offends anyone, but it does serve a purpose. Lately, an acronym, that was coined by a professor at U.C.S.D. has been hi-jacked by some left-wing bloggers. That acronym is LIV (Low Information Voters). The high-jackers have forced me to coin my own acronym, PILE (Pretentious Intolerant Liberal Elitist). So tell me, what is more "Low Informative". The ideas that CS, or Hard-Nox have on how to better improve this country. How about the comments that TGP and Sepp leaves. Pretty Low informative, huh. Or is it the Democratic piece of shit that quoted to me what you see above.

So I ask again MUD, whose the Low Information Voter?

Johnny O'Bloggin's Funny Ass (belated) Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

What do Pink Floyd and Dale Earnhardt have in common?

They both had big hits with the wall.

Where too Start???????????????????????

Political scientist Samuel L. Popkin coined the acronym L.I.V.(low information voter) to describe most voters who know very little about politics, or the world in general...................................

Union Tilesetter Johnny O'Bloggin Coined the acronym P.I.L.E. (pretentious intolerant liberal elitist) to descibe leftist bloggers who presume to know everything about politics, but have little time, or patience for people whose opinion differs from their's.

That's it for now. I will continue tomarrow(that's for you H/Nox) with a post regarding this topic. I will be posting daily(I hope) on this topic, until I get my rambling thoughts completely out.

EVERYONE is welcomed to comment. However, I am enforcing a provision. Your comment(s) will be deleted if you do not provide a littls info about yourself. All I want too know is your age(Doesn't have to be exact), and previous work history.

And please invite your friends. I would love to hear from Sepp, Laci, ALZ, MicroDot, Paladin, and Jack Jodell. Even N.O.N.....Although he claims he is not able to leave comments here.

I'll see your L.I.V..........And I'll raise you 1 P.I.L.E......

I created my own acronym.

The Winner is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drumroll Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always thought I would see a black man as President. I always thought I'd see my beloved Blackhawks and Sox win world championships. I always thought that someday, I would see gasoline cost more than milk. I always thought that someday, my daughter would not want too hold my hand walking down the street

But I never, ever, ever thought that I would see the day, that a person, organization, or anything else, would make an arguement like you pricks. Captive Orcas are being held in violation of the thirteenth amendment? Are you kidding me? And the best part, these assholes are actually bringing this lawsuit before a Federal (Our tax dollars) judge.

Their arguement? The founding father's never specified humans in the constitution. So, your organization speaks on behalf of animals that can not speak for themselves? O.K.
I'm speaking on behalf of the founding fathers who can not speak for themselves.
Go Fuck Fucking Beat-offs........................................

BTW- SeaWorld donated one million dollars to wildlife conservation last year.
How much did you donate Ms Newkirk?
